Client B wanted to sell video content via Internet portal. The site had a large number of visitors each month, but Client B's technical personnel had no experience in building a premium video service.Also, Client B had made a decision to outsource all its new services in order to lower its technical costs.

Client B contracted AffinityServe to develop and host the solution.

Together with Client B, we decided to use Windows Media Video format for content delivery. It had relatively high penetration among the potential users, and the high-bandwidth WMV delivered better quality than the alternatives.

Due to the terms of Client B's content license, the content was to be streamed to end-user. AffinityServe team decided to buy the streaming service from its technical partner who is specialized in Windows-environments and video streaming.

AffinityServe team developed the content management system, which was integrated to the media servers.
