AffinityServe - Mobile Internet Outsourcing Internet Video Sharing
Client C wanted to launch a video sharing site similar to Youtube. The intention was to enable user to upload files, which would be automatically converted into both Flash Video and 3GPP-formats.
We chose to build Client C his own software platform around the video sharing theme. The web-server software would run on PHP / MySQL. PHP would be used to program both the web-site and mobile Internet site for mobile phones.
The video transcoding was based on an open source software. We integrated the transcoding module into the web-site and a system to process the videos automatically once uploaded.
Flash Video player functionality was developed by our team, and integrated into the web-site. The site design was finalized by Client C's own web designer.

Client C did and will not need to hire any single technical staff in their team. This shortened the time to market the service and keeps Client C's technical operating costs reasonable.
